Facts are pesky things and no one can deny that the deadline for repealing ObamaCare has been pushed back at least three times in the past 30 days alone. Initially, we were told by Republican leaders that there was a self-imposed January 27th deadline for putting repeal framework on the table. The January 27 deadline came and went and the Drudge Report linked to story on secret tapes that were obtained at a swanky Republican confab in Philadelphia that outlined a "Republican Freak-Out" over ObamaCare repeal. As they ate caviar and drank expensive wine, they conspired on how they could sell the continuation of ObamaCare to a gullible public. Then Speaker of the House Paul Ryan came to a podium and assured us that repeal legislation had simply been pushed back to March or April; but at the same time Ryan's statement came out, The Daily Signal reported "that prominent portfolio managers on Wall Street are now betting against full repeal" and expect "the fundamental structure of ObamaCare will remain intact." Wall Street obviously knows something the rest of us do not know... On the other hand, President Trump assured the American people that repeal framework would be on the table the very second the nomination of Congressman Tom Price for Secretary of the Department of Health and Human Services was confirmed by the Senate. Specifically, President Trump said: "We're going to be submitting, as soon as our secretary is approved, almost simultaneously, shortly thereafter, a plan." And with Price's confirmation only days away, President Trump told Bill O'Reilly on Sunday: "I would like to say by the end of the year, at least the rudiments, but we should have something within the year and the following year." What can we say? Swamp creatures do not go gentle into that good night. What else needs be said? Possibly the biggest falsehood being advanced by politicians in Washington and their allies in the media is that ObamaCare is too big to fail. You've probably even heard your friends repeat the lie on social media or over dinner or at church on Sunday... we have to be very careful how we dismantle ObamaCare... it's tentacles are in everything, and doing it in the wrong way could be catastrophic. Now here's the truth... The Heritage Foundation's Edmund Haislmaier and Drew Gonshorowski looked at the ACTUAL enrollment data from Medicaid and private insurance companies through 2015 to assess the impact ObamaCare has had on coverage, and they found that only 14 million people have obtained health care coverage since the roll out of ObamaCare... anything else you may hear (such as the media narrative that the number is over 20 million) is nothing more than a made-up lie. And moreover, while the number of newly insured through 2015 was only 14 million, 11.8 million of these individuals actually gained coverage through Medicaid... that's right... all the government essentially did was add people to the Medicaid rolls... leaving only about 2.2 million who gained coverage through other markets. That's right folks... ObamaCare is essentially nothing more than a Medicaid expansion. But there's more: 
The 2.2 million figure doesn't really break down the number of young adults who
simply gained coverage because the law allowed them coverage on their parents' plans.
Nor does the 2.2 million figure take into account that far too many people are now in plans that charge ever-increasing premiums and high deductibles. The truth is that
far too many people are foregoing medical care
because they are paying outrageous premiums for the privilege of essentially
paying their medical bills out of their own pockets.
The truth of the matter is that the only catastrophe in simply repealing ObamaCare outright is that fat-cat mega-insurance companies, who are getting billions in taxpayer subsidies to allegedly provide health care coverage, will be forced to actually compete again in a system that leans back toward the free market; and our politicians will no longer be able to greenmail these mega-donors for campaign contributions to pick winners and losers using your hard-earned money as a lure. We're being hoodwinked folks and the only way to stop this shell game is to call these elected officials on the carpet and demand that they REPEAL OBAMACARE NOW!
